Mission: The mission of the Precision Exposomics and Health (CLOTHO) Lab is to generate new knowledge on key environmental exposures (all non-genetic factors) and their temporal dynamics as they shape chronic disease process in critical windows of vulnerability. The Lab applies the Human Exposome framework and state-of-the-art exposomics tools, including multi-omics, biomarkers, and wearable sensors in observational and experimental human studies.

The Lab leverages environmental and health datasets to better understand chronic disease etiology and to develop and test evidence-based, actionable solutions for reducing chronic disease risk in vulnerable population groups in Cyprus and internationally.

Vision: The CLOTHO Lab aspires to advance preventive health and wellbeing through the integration of exposome science, precision prevention models and their tools. This strategic vision seeks to transform our understanding of chronic disease prevention and control, generating substantial societal and public health benefits for Cyprus and the global community.
